Aso uses manga diplomacy

Tepco makes electrical and gas appliances. On May 23 and 24 they had a fair at Makuhari for promoting their products . One of their featured performers is Sakana-kun, who I'd mentioned in a recent blog entry had been interviewed in Gakken's Otona no Kagagu mook volume 1 (Putt Putt Boat) about his favorite childhood science toy.

Hiragana Times
The Hiragana Times has always had a poor website design for their online portal, and didn't carry the articles from their print edition (idea being to make you buy the magazine). But recently they updated their site and started running some sample pages of the articles online as well. However, it's still hit-and-miss in terms of finding recent back-issue articles, and there doesn't seem to be a search function. Which is why I haven't bothered mentioning anime-related stuff in their rag. However, the May issue had an article on Super Dollfie, another on a guide book for Akihabara in English, and a review of the updated version of Wings of Honneamise.
