I just thought that this was an interesting shot. Air conditioners sitting on the landings at the back of an office building on Yasukuni Dori (Yasukuni Street) in Tokyo.
Just wanted to say that I sent this photo to the Japan Times newspaper and they ran it the following week as one of their reader submissions. Don't get any money for it. Just a way to see your name in print.
Nov. news: You're probably noticing pictures not showing up right on the page. That's Media Fire for you. One of their servers keeps refusing to play nice with others. With luck all of the pictures will load at some point.
I'm the guy that created the Akira Toriyama Super Database, as well as the .Hack-oriented Helba Gata. Back in the 1990's, I lived in Japan for 2 years, working as a video game programmer and as a technical writer for Hitachi. After returning to the States and living in Texas for 10 years, I've decided to try living in Japan again. I'm interested in various manga, and to a lesser extent various anime. I'm also studying nihon-go.
