There was a mention of
mosquito coils in the language section of the Japan Times paper recently. The writer, Mark Schreiber, went on about how he'd switched to an electronic bug-chaser-awayer, but that supposedly the old fashioned coils, with their little pig-shaped holders are still popular in rural areas.

Well, they're still popular in the big cities, too, for people that like nostalgia. After reading Schreiber's article, I felt compelled to run this photo.
