Lucky Birthday

The Kagoshima Amusement Plaza (or, "Amupla" as it's called here) is celebrating its 7th anniversary. 7 is a lucky number in Japan (the big pachinko payoffs are for 777), and Amupla is tying this in to the 7 Japanese gods of good fortune.

The banners are hanging all over the department complex. The big window poster is just placed near the front entrance, and contains all seven women in the exact same poses as on the banners. Each character is named after the kinds of products sold in the complex, including prepared food and clothing.

Nothing in the ad campaign saying anything about goods designed for fending off volcano ash.
