New Hole in the Ground

A few weeks ago, I posted some photos where I joked that someone had pulled the plug on the Earth and it was deflating. Well, the two interesting things about that particular building site are: 1) it's along my route to Tenmonkan, so I pass by it fairly regularly; and, 2) there's no fence or barrier wall in the way to prevent taking photos of the progress. After putting the concrete plugs in the ground, the crew embedded the iron sheet plates along the perimeter line using the automated machine that I made a video of last year. After that, they used a front hoe to dig the hole out within the perimeter line, exposing the plates. The next step is to prepare the base for pouring concrete.
