Big Ash

I was at Amu Plaza one Saturday early in February and the sky was really clear (we had heavy rain the day before). When I came out of the department stores, I had a perfect view of the volcano 2 miles away. It had one of the biggest ash plumes I've seen in a while. I guess the wind had died down right around the island, because the cloud wasn't disappating like normal, and instead was just hanging big and thick above the cone. This has become a common enough sight that no one else around me was paying any attention to the volcano at all.
