Happy Nise Day

The Mirai Apartments are located along the Kotsuki river, near the Kagoshima Chuu-ou train station. "Mirai" means "future", but the theme along the outside wall seems to be more looking towards the past. I think "Happy Nise Day"is associated with one of the shops on the first floor. (Just for reference "nise" is Japanese for "fake".)

Ceramic tiles along the outer front wall.

Parking alcove.

(Interesting combination of a poster for a movie where an FBI agent infiltrates the mafia, and a police-only parking sign.)
