White Rock

Construction company site, in the hills between the rifle range and the Agricultural Center. What's interesting to me here is that the gash in the hill isn't cemented over, so we can see what it is made of. Since there are so many big hills like this throughout Kagoshima, I'd have to guess  that all of them have the same composition. The loam layer covering the hill, plus the root network from the trees and grass isn't very deep.
