DBZ Ice

Toei and the owners of the new Dragonball Z movie rights are really pulling out the stops to sell "Kami to Kami" (Battle of the Gods). Along with the KFC toys, they have a number of branded chips and snack foods available only at Lawson's convenience stores. First up is the DBZ ice cream bar. Similar to the Gundam Tri-age ice, the DBZ bar is 130 yen and comes with a foil-wrapped trading card.

The bar itself is kind of a vanilla ice milk, with a liquid "pudding" center. It's more of a coffee-flavored syrup. The bitter edge of the syrup offsets the sweetness of the ice cream. It's a pretty good combination, but the bar is too small for the $1.50 USD price.
