Job Fair

The weekend of May 3rd, Kagoshima had a children's fair that kind of doubled as a job fair, with exhibits intended to show what jobs exist. The police and fire departments both had vehicles out for the kids to climb over. Next to the 7-11 in Tenmonkan, a stage was set up for groups of kids to demonstrate what they'd learned.

The Spiderkids were hosted by one of the big cineplex theaters, and their job was to hand out fliers for the latest Spiderman movie to the audience.

I can't quite read the full nametag on the mascot. I think it's "Saku Angel-chan" (Blooming Angel).

For the event, the parking lot behind the open space in front of Lotteria was converted to another stage area, with food stalls, and audience space.

This particular stage event in the parking lot was a fashion show, featuring would-be models.

The open space in front of Lotteria was turned into a play area. (The previous parking lot stage is on the other side of the back wall.)

Pirate rocker boat ball game.

One of the other displays in the Lotteria event space was for a Universe Special Defense Force, where you could look at Space Marines, and monsters from Ultraman.
