Restaurant Sandwich Board

Shops have been coming and going with great frequency in Kagoshima. This is largely because no one ever does market research before trying to open up restaurants in Tenmonkan. This one location has held several different restaurants. The most-recent one was Chinese, but just hadn't been bringing in customers. The new one opened the weekend of April 16th. It's also Chinese, but now with a Japanese name. No idea if this is going to make any difference at all.

The main point is that this was the first time I've ever seen anyone drawing up the sandwich board. I've seen these boards all over the place, but there's never been anyone out front doing the artwork on them. I wonder if this guy is a professional artist specializing in sandwich boards...
