I was walking down the street from Tenmonkan and going past the Caparvo Hall event space when I spotted the male kitsune (fox spirit) hanging around outside. I've seen him at past events, and I figured this would be a good opportunity to talk to him a bit. I asked if I could take a photo, and he said "yes," guiding me into the lobby where his wife was waiting. I asked "why kitsune," and he answered that his wife paints and sells the masks.
They graciously posed for a few photos, then let me leave without stealing my soul. That was very nice of them.
