Shirokuma (white/polar bear) is a popular brand of shaved ice dessert made in Kagoshima.
Shirodon is a play on Shirokuma, and Sego-don (the nickname for local legend Saigo Takamori). He's being used as part of the event activities and tourism advertising tied to the 150th anniversary of the start of the Meiji Restoration.
