Kid's Days, Amu Plaza, Apr. 6-7

Amu Plaza hosted a children's park over the weekend. Lots of different activities and games. There was a booth selling bags of "coins". I didn't see a price, but I think it was 100 yen ($1) per coin. The hover cars were 5 coins for 3 minutes. May be the same price for the power tools, too.

Most people in the U.S. may not know this, but crane arm machines are REALLY popular in Japan. Unfortunately, the prizes don't fit in the little capsule balls.

The fan-powered hover cars were popular too, but much harder to control.

When I was a kid, we had to make our own power toys out of rocks and dead mice. And we were happy with that!
