Kagoshima has a number of hawks that fly over and around the city. It's very rare to see one this close, though. They usually panic and fly off when they see the camera. But, this one was hanging around on the corner of the roof of an apartment building next to a small city park.
It must have been at least 50 feet away from me, but the little pocket camera did a fairly decent job of capturing the image.
Giving me the cold shoulder.
