I rarely see butterflies anywhere outside of the area around the Kagoshima government offices down by Reimeikan, and I almost never see anything very large. And if I do, it flies away before I can get my camera out. This guy was an exception.
But, he never sat still enough to get a really good shot.
This was the best I could get with the little pocket camera.
