It's been a rough few months, and I've been looking for any little signs of a break in the clouds. A few days ago, I was getting ready to go outside, and I had to check my wallet for how much cash I had on me. As I was pulling it out of my pocket, a 1 yen coin fell out and hit the floor. At first I couldn't see where it had gone, then I realized that it had hit in a way to make it spin fast in one place. I decided that if it stopped face up, I'd have a good day, and a bad day if it stopped face down.
Yeah, my life's been like this for a while now.
