Kanoya All Wave

There's a small meat shop near the apartment called "Niku no Mori-ya" that is part of the Mori conglomerate. They put up this blackboard wall outside a corner shop a couple years ago, and at first the messages were just about not letting Covid defeat them. Maybe 6-9 months back, they changed the message to support the Kanoya All-Wave women's pro softball team.

Kyushu island is split in the middle at the south end by Kinko Bay. The eastern peninsula is called Osumi, and Kanoya is one of the cities there (Kagoshima city is on the western peninsula). Up until now, the most famous thing I knew about Kanoya was their annual rose garden display.

Last Friday, a new vending machine was installed on the corner one block away from the meat shop, replacing an old Coke machine. The new one has a wrapper dedicated to promoting the All Wave, and Mori.

They should have paid for a better artist. This one can't draw feet in perspective.
