Just some of the birds on the river as I was walking to Gokoku Shrine on New Year's Day. I took these with my little Canon pocket camera from 30-40 feet away. Not great, but at least the birds look like birds...
Based on the honking sounds, I'd say this is a goose.
The wave patterns are pretty trippy.
