Nov. 3 Marche and Gas Expo

You get the strangest promotions here in Kagoshima. This one was the "Second Gas Exhibition and Marche." Marche is usually used to describe bakery products available for sale. But, the main focus here is on propane gas.

Hamburg steak and pasta sandwiches.

Given that this was in the middle of Shochu Street and Ohara Matsuri, the Gas Expo was actually fairly well attended. Although, most people were there to eat, not look at propane appliances.

Example of how a gas meter regulates the gas flowing to a stove. This is actually a concern in a place that has strong earthquakes. But, electric stoves would still make more sense.

The demo kitchen was not as popular as the organizers hoped for.
